5 Things to Do in June: Here’s What’s Happening in CLE
There’s no shortage of activities happening in Cleveland this month. June is just the start of a summer full of fun. Without further ado, here’s what’s happening.
1.U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team VS. China PR
- Where: FirstEnergy Stadium
- When: June 12, at 7 p.m.
- Price: Tickets start at $30

2. Hessler Street Fair
- Where: University Circle
- When: Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. each day
- Price: FREE
Hessler Road is a one-way brick paved street that runs between Ford Drive and Hessler Court. This stretch is listed in National Register of Historic Places and is the only remaining wood block road in Cleveland.
3. Parade the Circle
- Where: University Circle (Wade Oval)
- When: Saturday, June 9, parade is at 12 p.m., Circle Village begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
- Price: FREE
This is the 29th year that the Cleveland Museum of Art has sponsored this one-of-a-kind event. With bright costumes, giant puppets, colorful floats, handmade masks, and stilt dancers, everyone in the family will enjoy this fun day. Color, music, art, food, activities, and entertainment all converge in one big celebration of the Arts.
4. Holocaust Remembrance Day at the Maltz Museum
- Where: Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, Beachwood
- When: Saturday, June 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Price: $0-$25
This event is held each year to honor and remember the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust, as well as to celebrate the courage of the ones who survived to share their stories. There are individual programs that will run throughout the day, which require registration ahead of time. This year’s remembrance will feature a screening of the film, Lost Town, which tells the story of Trochenbrod, the only Jewish town to exist outside of Palestine. All but 33 of the 5,000 residents were massacred.
5. Rock the Blocks
- Where: Larchmere Blvd.
- When: Sunday, June 3, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Price: FREE
Food, live entertainment, and a parade – what could be more fun for the whole family? This special event was designed to bring different communities together in a spirit of unity. Have a cocktail, visit the ice cream social, and don’t forget to bring along your lawn chairs to watch the parade.
